Key West, FL
The southernmost point in the U.S. with pastel & conch-styled houses with killer key lime pie and snorkeling!

Where to stay? Southernmost Beach Resort of course! It’s on the famous Duval Street, has 3 pools, a private beach, AND a café / bar on said private beach. The Keys are far so make the trip worth it and spring for the ocean view room. It’s hot year round so going during the summer months promises less snowbird crowds and less expensive flights.
Should I rent a car? Nah, dude! Key West is small enough to walk & bike around. But, to get from one side of the island to the other, quick & cheap Ubers are available.
Where should I go eat? Old Town Tavern & Beer Garden (the key lime crème brûlée will send you to heaven), The Raw Machine (get the Islander smoothie), Glazed Donuts (get the confetti cake!), Dante’s Key West Pool Bar & Restaurant, New York Pasta Garden (opt for dessert — the limoncello cake, specifically)
*Southernmost has delicious food & drinks — the fish tacos & SOMO Slams are the top choices I’d recommend!
What can I do around the island? Besides laying pool or beachside, there are so many opportunities to get on the water! The dolphin watching + snorkeling trip through Fury Water Adventures was the best deal. Drinks & snorkel gear included! Another excursion is jet-skiing for 2 hours through Barefoot Billy’s. It takes you around the island is the only jet ski company that allows you 30 minutes of free riding!
*Cuban Coffee Queen & The Hemingway Home & Museum are worth a stop!
