About Molls

Somewhere between being extremely nostalgic and planning the next adventure, that’s where you’ll find me. I have this wonderful curse of a vivid memory and a hundred pictures for almost everywhere I go so I wanted this to be a platform that paints both.

My love for writing began with a claim-to-fame after school writing class in elementary school that ended up showcasing my poems and short stories in our library. I was encouraged to open up every creative corner of my mind and to utilize it. Fast forward to college where I was full steam ahead with my journalism degree but had no clue exactly where to place it. Due to my illicit fear of stage fright, I knew broadcasting was not my path. My junior year I signed up to study abroad in the U.K. for a full semester. In short, it changed everything for me. It lit up the path my writing wanted to take. Three months in England and two weeks of backpacking around Europe and the rest is history. I’ve been feverishly buying plane tickets ever since.

Saying ‘yes’ to something adventurous like paragliding off the mountainsides of Salzburg or 4-wheeling in Santorini or sailing the Caribbean has awakened this adventurous spirit in me that I want others to be encouraged to find too. My hope in this is that it will inspire anyone who’s curious or fearful to go and try something new in somewhere new. And if anything, I hope it keeps the writer in me motivated and the traveler in me passionate.
